There are many ways to donate to the Nakusp Public Library. We welcome your time, material donations, and financial gifts. While local and provincial funding sustain the library's core services, numerous donations from individuals and organizations help make the library the vibrant and special place that it has become.

The Nakusp Public Library is a registered charity. All donations over $10 are eligible for a tax receipt. To donate to the library, please click the button below, or visit the library during open hours.

Friends of the Library

Throughout its history, the Nakusp Public Library has enjoyed vital support from many volunteers: in 2010 alone, volunteers contributed over 1,200 hours to the operations and projects of the library! Some of these volunteers work a regular shift when the library is open, while others work on special projects or events.

Book Donations

Usually, the library welcomes donations of books, videos or DVDs, and CD audiobooks in good condition. Unfortunately, while the library undergoes some renovations over the summer of 2010, our ability to accept donations will be very limited. Whenever possible, please phone ahead to find out if it's a good time to make your donation.
